*About the levels
In Convoplace, the first 3 levels are used to help us determine if you are a person (not a bot).
When you first sign up, you are a Level 1 member. After you confirm your email address and complete your profile, you then become a Level 2 member.
After 30 days, if you have been a member in good standing, you advance to Level 3. "Member in good standing" means that you have not violated
our terms of service and you have not been suspended or banned for inappropiate behavior (i.e. spam, hate, abuse, etc.).
Payments are another factor that help us verify that you are a person (not a bot). When you make a payment it tells us that you are most likely a person.
Also, we appreciate your support so you get to advance 2 levels. You can only advance 2 levels (as a result of subscribing) ONCE during a 12 month period.
Usually you can only advance one level at a time. For example, if you win a tournament or master a qualifying game you will advance one level.
Note that we are still working on the qualifying games for various levels. Also, note that after level 5 it will become more difficult to reach higher levels.
Lastly, there is not maximum level at the moment.
About payment renewal
As stated above, our memberships do not automatically renew. We prefer to check in with you and make sure that you are getting value from our site.
If you enjoy our site and feel that you are getting good value from it then you will most likely renew. Note that we do not save any credit card or
checking account information.
We do not give refunds. When you subscribe you are paying for digital goods, which you will most likely use. For example, when you subscribe, you get points.
You can give those points to other members or use them in a game. We cannot get those points back without disrupting our user experience. Imagine if you won
points from someone and then we asked for it back because they wanted a refund. That would not be a good experience.
Therefore, no take backs and no refunds. Note that we will work with you to resolve any disputes that you may have. For example, if the rules or instructions for a game
are unclear and you lost points as a result, we will credit you those points and clarify the instructions. We want you to enjoy our site.
